หลักสูตรมีลักษณะเป็นพลวัต

หลักสูตรมีลักษณะเป็นพลวัต (Dynamis) และเปลี่ยนไปตามความต้องการและความเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมอยู่เสมอ  คุณสมบัติข้อนี้แสดงว่าประสบการณ์และกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนที่จัดให้แก่ผู้เรียนจะไม่ซ้ำเหมือนเดิม  แต่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงและเพิ่มอยู่เสมอ  โดยจะเปลี่ยนแปลงในลักษณะค่อยเป็นค่อยไปตามความจำเป็น  เนื้อหาสาระและกิจกรรมใดยังเสนอเป้าหมายและจำเป็นต่อผู้เรียนและสังคมก็คงไว้  ในบางครั้งอาจจะคงเนื้อหาสาระไว้อย่างเดิม  แต่การจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อให้เกิดการเรียนรู้ในเรื่องนั้นๆ  อาจจะต้องปรับปรุงเปลี่ยนแปลงเสียใหม่ให้เหมาะสมเพราะกิจกรรมหรือประสบการณ์ที่จัดให้แก่ผู้เรียนซึ่งเคยเหมาะสมเพียงพอในระยะเวลาหนึ่งและสถานการณ์หนึ่ง  อาจจะไม่เหมาะสมและเพียงพอในอีกระยะเวลาหนึ่งและอีกสถานการณ์หนึ่ง  เพราะฉะนั้นหลักสูตรจึงมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอันเป็นคุณสมบัติที่เด่นชัดประการณ์หนึ่ง         The course is dynamic.            The course is dynamic (Dynamis) and changes according to the needs and changes of society.
